3rd Indian Abacus National Level Competition - 2019
The Biggest & the most Competitive it will be held every year for the students in the country. It is unique in its own way. The students were tested after rigorous practice in the entire year. And it is the most awaited event of the year for the Indian Abacus students – says Mr. N. Basheer Ahamed, the Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Abacus Pvt. Ltd., Global Head office, Chennai. Each student is given a set of 200 questions to be answered in 8 minutes, which is a tough task for adults but it’s a game for Indian Abacus students. Indian Abacus centres take several sessions of practice before the competition – at least for a period of 5 months – to prepare the students to get the winning edge. The best performers are selected for the National tournament to be held at Chennai. Hence this tournament paves way for National & International level Indian Abacus based tournaments. Their speed in doing 200 sums accurately is the actual exhibition of the CONCENTRATION levels to manipulate the sliders / images representing numbers using the formulae. It’s a number / math game and they play it effortlessly. Around 3500 Children will be appeared in the tournament held on 13th July 2019 at chennai convention Centre A/c., Chennai.
The students were provided Free Juice/ Water Bottles by Indian Abacus organisation. The tournament was based on age & Indian Abacus Course Level criteria across 8 levels. The first round started at 8.00 AM. It was an eye opening experience to see the small kids fighting against time to be the Best performer. A team of 250 people including Franchisees & Abacus tutors helped manage the event including checking / marking the question / answer papers. Hall ticket numbers mentioned in the each question paper. A special software using bar codes system was developed to process results speedily & do away with the errors in results. There was a 10 X 12 (3 numbers) feet LED installed for running different Indian Abacus Videos and results in the examination hall. The entire event was covered by print media & electronic media representatives. The prize distribution ceremony will be held evening 5.pm at the same hall.
